Maybe I'm Wrong...

I think most people deserve to be happy. Even if you disagree, hear me out. That kid walking down the street, he has a funny gait, and sure he might be kind of annoying, but what has he REALLY ever done to you? Did he hit you? Did he call you names? Did he throw things at you? Then why do you do those things to him? It's not like he deserves to be called "weird" or "annoying" or "stupid". Maybe he's just different. Don't you think he might be a genius in disguise? What if he's the next Mozart, just waiting for his chance to pull out his piano skills. He's probably just as misunderstood as everyone else. High School's rough for everyone. Why does he deserve to get picked on because you can't see him as a human being? It's time to be cool and stop being an asshole. Think about that.

SELF-CONSCIOUS

This is how millions of teens feel every day. Sure, its hard wired into their brains, our brains. We're supposed to care what other people think because if we didn't, nothing would ever work. The world would stop going around? At least in our minds, it would. The reason everyone feels so helpless all the time is because we're all so god-damn judgmental. If everyone would lay off for a minute and just try to see the person on the other side of the face that they see. The actual feelings behind the mask of flesh and bone. A heart inside of something made of stone. Maybe then we could all be happy. Maybe everyone would be a little nicer to one another. It's not going to happen, but It could, if we weren't taught to hate everyone. The generation before us really fucked that one up, didn't they?
